| Taking Inspiration from Fine Art Work |
As a gift to her dance instructors, a person asked me to create a Personal Card (at top right). Unlike most business cards of today, it would have very limited contact information. Yet, unlike the personal calling cards of the 1800s and earlier days, it would be much more colorful, listing phone numbers on the front and dance styles on the back.
The original inspiration was from a wonderful painting by Jack Vetriano, called, "The Singing Butler" (at center right with the two umbrellas).
The original background was removed and replaced with an early evening, stormy purple photo I took of the Organ Mountains of Las Cruces, New Mexico, U.S.A. Many other additions, and customizations were made... Seen in more detail (below) in a subsequent faux Champagne Label, for multiple use such as short-run labels to cover a few real bottle labels, or as invitations (with date, time, location information on the back) and perhaps as header art for community college dance class fliers.

The end result of the digital airbrush alteration was used for Business Cards and also for a Champagne Label draft for party use (below). Notice that the horizontal orientation was reversed and along with the original background, the maid and hi-fi were also removed then a lightening bolt and brass champagne ice bucket placed close by. Many other alterations and additions were made... The couple's hair-styles and color were digitally airbrushed to silver and long blonde. She had a bit more bicep to show (inside joke), hips adjusted slightly and a slit up the dress was digitally painted in by request.

When the photo was taken, the lights were OFF.
Now they appear blinking ON.

DIGITAL IMAGE CREATION BASED ON SKETCH OF ANCIENT TOMB ART
I left this very early rocket (or "shem") illustration as large as I could so you can scroll to see some detail.
